Dr. Monika Chakraborty attained her B.D.S degree in 2011 from Chittagong Medical College Dental Unit and completed her One Year internship in the same Dental Unit. She has completed a six months Post Graduation training from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2014 on oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Following that she accomplished her Diploma in Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2019. After two years of rigorous training, thorough clinical cases as well as completion of theoretical exams, she gained massive dexterity in the field of dentistry.
She specializes in general dentistry and she has ten years’ experience on clinical works of dentistry at several clinic.
Currently she is performing her duties as an assistant professor and head of the department of Dental Pharmacology at Dhaka Community Medical Dental Unit. She's very keen on areas of the dental pharmacology (study of drugs used to treat conditions of the oral cavity), root canal therapy.
